Nintendo announced that it is releasing three classic Mario games in an all in one package on the Nintendo Switch!
Super Mario 3D All-Stars is available for pre-order now and consists of three fan favorites each from a different console. From the Nintendo 64 comes Super Mario 64 originally released in 1996, from the GameCube console comes Super Mario Sunshine originally released in 2002, and Super Mario Galaxy arrives from the Wii that was originally released in 2007.
Check out the epic trailer below:
In Super Mario 64 you will jump into paintings around Princess Peach’s castle to collect Power Stars and stop Bowser.
In Super Mario Sunshine you will collect Shine Sprites and clean up the beautiful Isle Delfino, which has been covered in goop by Shadow Mario.
In Super Mario Galaxy you will travel from planet to planet on a gravity-defying adventure to stop Bowser from taking over the universe.
All of the games have had graphics upgrades to look better on today’s modern television screens, and Super Mario Sunshine has an upgraded aspect ratio of 16:9. Super Mario 3D All-Stars also includes an in-game music-player mode to play the music and songs from all three games. In addition, players can listen to the music on their Nintendo Switch systems when the screen is off.
The bundle is set as a limited release in both digital and physical forms — Nintendo says you won’t be able to buy it after March 31, 2021.
Super Mario 3D All-Stars is available for pre-order now, and will be released September 18, 2020, only on Nintendo Switch!
