Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are together again in Ridley Scott’s new film ‘The Last Duel’

The best-friend-forever reunion of the ages is finally happening in Ridley Scott’s film The Last Duel, as Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are on screen together again.

Joining Affleck and Damon are Adam Driver and Jodie Comer. The Last Duel is inspired by the novel of the same name by Eric Jager.

The Last Duel is directed by Ridley Scott and was written Damon, Affleck, and Nicole Holofcener. The film is based on a true story that follows two French knights (Damon and Adam Driver) who go from best friends to enemies after one returns home and accuses the other of assaulting his wife (Jodie Comer) while he was at war. The accusation leads to a duel to the death. Not only are the lives of the knights at risk, the wife’s also hangs in the balance, if her husband loses, she will also be put to death for false accusations.
