It has been one incredible first year for the Disney+ streaming platform, as a result it was expected that prices may be going up.
Disney has made an one heck of an impact on the streaming world over the past year and with the recent release of the second season of The Mandalorian, the premier of WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It has been nearly impossible to avoid the streaming platform which truly has something for everyone. With that, March 2021 officially marked the streamer crossing the 100 million subscribers mark.
From its launch the monthly rate has been $6.99. However, beginning March 26th, Disney+ will raise its basic plan cost to $7.99 per. The Disney Company Bundle that includes Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu (with ads) will bump up to $13.99 per month, from $12.99.The bundle plan that features Hulu ad-free which just launched this past January the price will also be raised by $1.00 to $19.99.
For Disney+ alone the the one-year membership has been the most appealing option for families and will jump from $69.99 to $79.99 per year.
If you are a current monthly subscriber, the price change will go into effect on your next billing date after March 26.
