Hilary Duff shares first ‘How I Met Your Father’ cast photo

It’s time for another parent to tell the story of how they fell in love to their children.

Since we already heard the story of How I Met Your Mother, now it is time to hear of How I Met Your Father starring Hilary Duff; fresh off the series finale of the hit show Younger. The spinoff has officially started production and Duff shared the first cast photo on her Instagram.

Duff accompanied the picture with the caption “Who’s ready for us??? We may or may not have been sitting in front of a certain someone’s apartment…. #himyf”

The picture includes Duff along with her cast mates Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, Suraj Sharma, Chris Lowell, and Brandon Micheal Hall.

How I Met Your Father will be set “In the near future, Sophie (Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.”

While product has begun, there has yet to be a release date announced. No doubt the new sitcom will premiere this fall if they go with a traditional season around 20 episodes. If they go with a shorter season as is becoming the trend thanks to streamers creating their own content, it may end up premiering after the New Year or in the spring of 2022.
