The first trailer for ‘Impeachment: American Crime Story’ has arrived

The first full length trailer for Impeachment: American Crime Story has finally arrived.

One of the most infamous scandals to grip the nation in the past 30 years is the focus of the newest season of FX’s critically acclaimed anthology series, American Crime Story.

The upcoming anthology is based on the book A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal that Nearly Brought Down a President by Jeffrey Toobin. Impeachment centers on that sex scandal that took place between President Bill Clinton and then White House intern, Monica Lewinsky, and the Impeachment trial against the former president that followed.

American Crime Story: Impeachment stars Beanie Feldstein as Lewinsky herself, and Clive Owen as President Bill Clinton.

Joining them will be Dan Bakkedahl (Veep), Joseph Mazzello (Bohemian Rhapsody), Blair Underwood (Quantico), Kevin Pollak (Mom), Patrick Fischler (The Right Stuff), and Mira Sorvino.

Deadline reported that Mazello and Underwood will play President Clinton’s advisers Paul Begala and Vernon Jordan, respectively. Pollack will play former White House counsel Bernie Nussbaum, while Fischler will play Clinton’s aide and Hilary Clinton’s friend, Sidney Blumenthal. Sorvino is rumored to be playing Lewinsky’s mother, Marcia Lewis.

American Crime Story: Impeachment premiers on FX September 7th.
