Tom Holland has swung into the States as production on Spider-Man 3 gets ready to begin!

Over the weekend Tom Holland arrived in the United States and kept his fans up to date by documenting his Atlanta arrival via his social media. “It’s time for Spider-Man 3. Let’s go!” Holland said on his Instagram story.

As we previously reported, Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role of Doctor Strange alongside Holland in this next joint venture between Sony and Disney’s Marvel Studios—a deal that was worked out by both studios in 2019. Spider-Man: Far From Home had Peter dealing with the grief of the loss of his mentor, Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark. Strange is said to be taking on a mentor-like role for Peter Parker in this next film.

Also joining Holland in the three-quel will be Jamie Foxx, who played Electro in the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies, will be returning to the role in this next movie.

This set of Spider-Man films also feature the ever so talented recent Emmy winner Zendaya as M.J., Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Jacob Batalon as Pete’s bff Ned.

Jon Watts is returning to direct the third installment after directing both of the previous films, Spider-Man: Homecoming and and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Currently the third Spider-Man film is slated for a theatrical release in December of 2021.
