Prince Harry appears to have been the newest target of Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, who have a history of pranking politicians.
According to Deadline, a now-deleted video was posted on the YouTube channel Vovan222prank that featured supposed recordings of Prince Harry from two separate phone calls.
Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov pretended to be climate change activist Greta Thunberg and her father, Svante in order to get Prince Harry to discuss political matters. The pair have also previously pranked Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
Prince Harry’s representatives and Buckingham Palace have yet to comment on the matter, nor have they denied their authenticity.
He reportedly told the Youtubers that President Trump has “blood on his hands,” because of his involvement in the coal industry. “Trump will want to meet you to make him look better but he won’t want to have a discussion about climate change with you because you will outsmart him,” Prince Harry said in the video.
They also got the prince to discuss some more personal matters, it looks like, including his and Meghan Markle’s decision to step down from their royal duties. Prince Harry backed up his decision, despite saying how difficult it was.
“I can assure you, marrying a Prince or Princess is not all it’s made out to be,” Prince Harry said. “But sometimes the right decision isn’t always the easy one. And this decision certainly wasn’t the easy one but it was the right decision for our family, the right decision to be able to protect my son.”
Other topics were discussed in the calls including Prince Andrew, who has not been cooperating with prosecutors on the Jeffrey Epstein case, as well as British prime minister Boris Johnson. Prince Harry seemed to mostly keep a distance from saying anything negative — apart from his comments on Trump.
