Ryan Murphy teases Macaulay Culkin character for the upcoming season of ‘American Horror Story’

A first look at Macaulay Culkin has surfaced as his character from the upcoming American Horror Story season 10.

The long running horror series creator, Ryan Murphy, shared an image of Culkin arm in arm with series veteran Leslie Grossman.

“Something wicked this way comes,” Murphy captioned the image, spurring fan speculation of how the phrase could be a clue for what season 10’s theme will be.

Like the previous seasons, little else is known about the upcoming season of the anthology series. What we do now is that it takes place in Provincetown which has caused a lot of delays in having to wait for the perfect weather to shoot. We also know that there is a contortionist, and the previous teaser images contain a lot of sharp teeth.

Culkin joins a veteran cast for his first season of AHS. Including Grossman, he joins Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock.

Murphy called Culkin’s role “a very, very great, insane part.”

In an interview Murphy said that Culkin’s role is “a very, very great, insane part.” He went on to say, “When I cast, I never let people read things, usually. I said, ‘Okay, here’s the pitch.’ And I told them the character and I told him he has crazy, erotic sex with Kathy Bates and does other things. And he paused and he goes, ‘This sounds like the role I was born to play.’ So, he signed up right then and there.”

Now we wait and see where the 10th season of American Horror Story will go from here.
