The first trailer for Bridgerton, the first Shondaland project at Netflix, has arrived!
Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland signed a deal with Netflix back in 2017 and it is finally gearing up to make its Netflix debut with its first original series, Bridgerton.
The only thing Lady Whistledown loves more than gossip, is being the first to tell you about it.

The series is about Daphne Bridgerton, the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she enters the Regency London marriage market. Daphne might have her sights set on London’s most desirable duke, but locking down the bachelor won’t be easy.
The mysterious Lady Whistledown who seems to be in everyone’s business even though she is never seen, she is a constant blocker for Daphne along the way.
The series will be based off of the Bridgerton family novels by Julia Quinn. Netflix’s Bridgerton is set to be executive produced and adapted by Christ Van Dusen who comes from the Shondaland family having been involved with Scandal.
Ad you can gather from the trailer the brilliantly talented Julie Andrews lends her voice to the mysterious Lady Whistledown.
