As we count down the days until season four of The Crown premieres, Netflix has dropped a new trailer to wet the appetite.
Netflix has finally released another trailer for the forthcoming season of the hit royal family drama, The Crown. The trailer primarily focuses on two new characters to the series, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Princess Diana.
Watch the trailer below:
We first focus on Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, played by Gillian Anderson. As the first woman prime minister she is immediately under a watchful eye by the entire population, the Queen being no exception to that. Although we hear the Queen say how maybe the country needs two female leaders, she still puts on a very cold demeanor in their first meeting. As we know from history, their relationship is anything but smooth.
The second half of the trailer focuses on Princess Diana, played by Emma Corrin. Her introduction to the series and the family comes with an immense amount of disapproval and uncertainty for how she will effect the Royal image.
The trailer has a much different feel overall compared to the rest of the series as a whole. It has a constant air of impending trauma for the country and for the family.
Season 4 of The Crown debuts November 15th, only on Netflix.
