One of the many people involved in Netflix’s hit documentary Tiger King, Jeff Lowe, is saying there’s even more evidence against Carole Baskin that couldn’t be shown.
While Joe Exotic was the main focus of Tiger King, he wasn’t the only one involved. Fans are very interested to know more about Carole Baskin and what her role could have been in the disappearance of her husband Jack “Don” Lewis.
Jeff Lowe, who currently owns Joe Exotic’s former zoo, appeared on Lights Out With David Spade via live stream to discuss the hot issue. With a tiger cage right behind him, Lowe first joked with the comedian before getting into what everyone really wanted to know.
Spade, started the topic by saying that the first person he thought was guilty on the show was Baskin.
“There’s no doubt. There’s no question,” Lowe responded to Spade. “We know so much more than that documentary showed.”
“You know, Netflix whitewashed a lot of it,” Lowe explained further. “I think because of legal exposure from something they can’t prove. But we have a lot more evidence against her that just wasn’t shown.”
Spade laughed and agreed that there has to be more to it.
For her part, Baskin maintains her innocence. She’d previously released a statement on the issue and called out Netflix for presenting what she referred to as “lies.”
Baskin posted that the series, “Has a segment devoted to suggesting, with lies and innuendos from people who are not credible, that I had a role in the disappearance of my husband Don in 1997.”
She also accused that, “The series presents this without any regard for the truth or in most cases even giving me an opportunity before publication to rebut the absurd claims. They did not care about truth. The unsavory lies are better for getting viewers.“
What ever the case may actually be, there is a clear renewed interested in what happened to Don Lewis. Whether or not anything will come of that remains to be seen.
